Seedless Watermelon and Champagne Cocktail
Quarter teaspoon brown sugar2 teaspoons of Cointreau Ice-cold Champagne Seedless watermelon cut into slices Add the brown sugar to a champagne glass. Add the Cointreau and stir into the sugar. Top with ice-cold champagne. Cut a small heart shape from the watermelon and place on the side of the glass to garnish. For a dash of extra colour, trickle some watermelon juice into the glass of champagne. Seedless Watermelon Sushi Makes about 12 sushi pieces (Nigiri) Half a wedge of seedless watermelon cut into thin slices 2 cups sticky coconut sushi rice Fresh mint leaves 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds Cook the sushi rice according to the packet instructions, using coconut milk instead of half of the liquid. Once cooked, form the sticky rice into 5cm long pieces and top with a slice of seedless watermelon, a mint leaf and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. |
